Getting started

Inspect your model and choose the optimizations you need. Settings take effect when you apply changes.

1. Load a model

Drop a GLB / VRM onto the page or choose a model. You can also try the Sheen Chair sample. Dropping another model asks you to confirm replacement.

2. Inspect assets

Select a texture, material or geometry to inspect its details, or click the model to identify an asset. Model picking is disabled while Selected only is active.

3. Configure optimization

All optimizations start OFF. Enable KTX2, Meshopt, Prune, Weld vertices or Simplify as needed. Open the KTX2 or Simplify heading to adjust quality using sliders or direct number entry.

Automatic uses shared settings; Override uses individual values. Simplify overrides take priority in this order: geometry, material, global settings. Automatic KTX2 uses UASTC for Normal and ETC1S for other slots.

4. Review the result

Apply changes sends the model, replacement images and settings to the server. Each conversion starts from the originally loaded model, not the previous result. Review the statistics and comparison slider, then use Download to save the result; downloading is not automatic. Keep the original file and test the result in its intended application.

Preview controls

Left-drag rotates or looks around in first person; right-drag pans; the wheel zooms. WASD / arrow keys move; Shift doubles movement speed. On mobile, switch between Preview and Assets & settings.
